Channels
First, not every channel is created equal. Facebook for an example is one of the best ways to reach older adults. So when you create Facebook ads you can word them more to gasp older adults who are looking for life coaches to lead them.
LinkedIN is for business professionals. LinkedIn is a great place to create a blog and have statistics and repost different articles.
Tik Tok, Instagram, and Snapchat are a younger crowd. Think about different wording for ads, and more visuals. These channels are not the place to use long content. Using visuals are essentials to get people to your page. You want something someone is going to stop scrolling and stare at your ad. Also, using hashtags and @ tags are your best bet to get a bang for your buck.
SnapChat is about being fast and quick. You want something that is going to grab someones eye and they can read it as fast as possible ( Ie: 3 ways to be mindful in the morning). Make it quick and make it fun. A picture of puppies is more desirable then a picture of two people smiling.
Marketing
Once you have your channel and your target audience, how do you draw them in into your account? The funny thing about social media it requires you to be social (like have a conversation). Asked them questions, have them tell you their ideas, etc. Make it fun. Have jokes or solve puzzles.
Have your audience learn from you. People enjoy learning new information they never knew. Just don't have pages of statics or quotes. Keep it simple, yet effective. Share industry news or quotes from influencers to draw more engagement.
Today people are in major fear of missing something on social media. They are scared to miss a story before it is expired on Instagram or scared to miss a flash sale before it ends. Put out something they are going to be in fear of missing out on.
What not to do: do not copy form your competitors. Most advertiser see what their competitors are doing and try to create something similar or even a little better. Think outside the box. Get creative.
Advertising has grown over the past decade and with social media marketing the highest way to reach clients its time to start thinking bigger and have fun with it. What made you into Life Coaching? Think about what drawls you into ads and have fun with it. You do not need to add a client based on your ad but you need your ad to make people want to click on it and go to your website then thats when you really WOW them. Keep ads fun, simple and geared to the right audience and you will be successful in your social media marketing.
